Abstract
This paper focuses on competence management in organizations and highlights the potential support and benefits related to the implementation of IT-supported strategic competence management as part of a human resource management system. Also, the types and aspects of competencies are elaborated and duly scrutinized as it affects both personal and company development.
Introduction
Through the years, human resources have drifted away from focusing on individual contribution of an employee and are now more interested in the strategic management, knowledge development, and competence management within the company. However, Competence management has proven to be of great importance as it is the process used to determine what is required and vital for the survival of an organization. Competence management (CM) involves the planning, implementation, and evaluation of initiatives to ensure sufficient competencies of the employees and the company to reach the objectives of the organization (Nordhaug,1993).
Regrettably, competency is often measured based on predetermined criteria and denoted with numeric values as opposed to understanding the dynamic, holistic, cognitive and systematic vista of organizational competence....

AN EXEGETICAL ANALYSIS OF THE CONCEPT OF ELECTION IN EPHESIANS 1:3-6

Abstract
Paul brings the issue of election in Ephesians 1:3-6 and went further to say we are adopted children of God. Paul who sees himself as adopted Roman’s citizen tries to explain what it means to be adopted by God through Jesus Christ, using election and to give God praise as a major reason for our election. This paper from Biblical point of view highlights election and tries to look at predestination at the same time.
Introduction:
Ephesians 1: 3 to 6 says 3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.4 For he chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love 5 He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will – 6 to the praise of His glorious grace, which He has freely given us in the one He loves.1

What makes Poor Countries or People to be Poor is not that they don’t have the Capacity/Money to be rich but lack the ability or how to go about it, most of which are:
Poor /ineffective institutions
Poor/Ineffective Motivations
Poor/Ineffective Organizations
Poor/Ineffective Social Norms
We need to build Capacity for Growth
Help and give professional advice to sustain the growth
Build the local Companies
Adapt them to work with you till they are able to come to a reasonable level of competence
Nigeria Government Build Political balance
Right Authority – creating the opportunities and giving the right authority to this opportunity
Public investment measurement
Government should build inter-time structure that should work independent of oil price – down or up
Domestic investment processes should be put in place
The Government needs economic capacity with the Country – some Government help in building other countries economy capacity leaving their out – read up National resources chapter – already used in Tanzania on Google
Companies working in Nigeria
Need to partner with local authorities to build sustainable organizations – not individual skills
Build economic opportunities
Share building organization capacities that are acceptable to the government
